What CE marking signifies
Affixing the CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets all applicable EU requirements, including CRA cybersecurity requirements, and that the conformity process is complete.
Before you affix it
- Complete the applicable conformity assessment.
- Compile the technical documentation.
- Draw up and sign the EU declaration of conformity.
Keep it current
CE marking is not one-and-done: significant changes can require re-assessment, and documentation must stay aligned with the product as shipped.
